Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, allocates funded spaces for artistic work by Berlin’s independent scene within the framework of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing space for artists and cultural workers in the state of Berlin.

We are currently awarding 12 funded rehearsal and artistic workspaces with optional storage space in Berlin-Tempelhof as well as 3 funded artistic workspaces in Prenzlauer Berg.
Who can apply?
The calls for applications are aimed at professional individual artists, groups, ensembles and collectives working in the fields of performing arts and dance. Applications from several individuals and/or groups who have already joined forces in advance to use the space together are also expressly welcome.
Allocation procedure – how is the decision made?
The selection is made by a discipline-specific, independent advisory board appointed for the discipline Performing Arts/Dance within the framework of the Workspace Programme (ARP).
