Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, allocates subsidised spaces for artistic work by Berlin’s independent scene as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). GSE gGmbH is a partner in the Kultur Räume Berlin alliance. This alliance coordinates the ARP on behalf of the State of Berlin. Its aim is to secure and provide affordable work, rehearsal and production spaces for the independent scene.
GSE gGmbH supports emerging talent in the Performing and Visual Arts with the Eisdiele x Kunst programme. Recent graduates can apply annually for a five-month studio grant. The support includes a free studio space and a materials allowance.

Target group: Graduates in visual arts, performing arts, photography or film; degree completed no more than 3 years ago; primary residence in the Berlin region; no current enrolment.
Scope of support: Free studio space of approx. 23 m² in Alt-Moabit/Mitte for 5 months plus a materials allowance of up to €2,000.
Funding periods: 01.04.–31.08.2026 or 01.10.–28.02.2026
