Every change offers the opportunity for something new. In order to continuously improve our offerings for the Berlin music scene, our Kultur Räume Studio previously located on thge Wilhelmsaue in Wilmersdorf is moving to Breitenbachstr. 34-36 in Reinickendorf. From mid-January 2026, the new location will offer a spacious and professionally equipped studio for ensembles, bands and professional musicians to use on a temporary basis.
This move is much more than just a change of location – it is a conscious upgrade that we have carefully tailored to the needs of the indipendent scene. At the new location, we can finally offer the conditions that were lacking in Wilmersdorf. The new rehearsal space offers optimised acoustics, low-barrier accessibility via a ramp, its own loading zone for deliveries and, above all, no more volume restrictions. Ideal conditions that create space for inspiration without any limitations. Of course, all of our high-quality technology and instrumentation, from grand pianos to microphones, will be moving to the new location, where it will be available for you from mid-January 2026.

The relocation of our Kultur Räume Studio to Reinickendorf marks the beginning of a comprehensive expansion of our music offerings. In the course of 2026, additional spaces for temporary use will follow in Lichtenberg and Oberschöneweide. In addition, nearly 50 music rehearsal spaces will be created at Lehrter Str. 60 in Mitte, which can be rented for long-term use. Further locations are in preparation. The aim of all new offerings is to provide optimal production conditions and opportunities for development for the Berlin music scene, both through universal accessibility and good room and building acoustics. We look forward to this new chapter and the creative works that will be produced in these spaces.
Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, awards subsidised spaces for the artistic work of Berlin’s independent performing arts community as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing spaces for art and cultural activities in the state of Berlin.
