Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, awards subsidised spaces for the artistic work of Berlin’s independent performing arts community as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing spaces for art and cultural activities in the state of Berlin.

Ar Breitenbachstr. 34–36, Kultur Räume Berlin is opening a new workspace for the independent Berlin scene. A number of subsidised workspaces are available for interim use in a fully renovated former hosiery factory in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Three calls for applications are currently open for this interdisciplinary location: literature, performing arts, dance and musical theatre. As always, applications can be submitted via our web portal.

The building offers workspaces with wooden or laminate flooring. It is equipped with a freight elevator, communal areas with kitchenettes, showers and toilets, and bicycle parking spaces. The access road is also suitable for delivery vehicles. Artists from various disciplines will be working in the building. Mutual consideration and collegial cooperation are therefore expressly desired.
