Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, awards subsidised spaces for the artistic work of Berlin’s independent performing arts sector as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing spaces for art and cultural activities in the state of Berlin.
We have three subsidised music rehearsal spaces available on Columbiadamm in Berlin-Tempelhof. Located on the site of the former Tempelhof airport, the spaces each have a separate entrance. They contain simple, functional equipment and have sound-absorbing walls and ceilings. The spaces are intended for professional musical work. They can be used at any time of day or night.
The spaces are generally allocated for dual use, i.e. two parties share a space. Single use is only possible in exceptional cases and must be clearly justified in the application.
