Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, awards subsidised spaces for the artistic work of Berlin’s independent performing arts community as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing spaces for art and cultural activities in the state of Berlin.

At Frank-Zappa-Str. 16 in Berlin-Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Kultur Räume Berlin is allocating several subsidised music rehearsal spaces for long-term use as part of the Workspace Programme. The rehearsal spaces are located in a former office building containing a total of over 130 workspaces. The building has a lift, acoustically optimised rehearsal spaces and shared toilets.
