Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, awards subsidised spaces for the artistic work of Berlin’s independent performing arts community as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing spaces for art and cultural activities in the state of Berlin.

We are opening a new Workspace location in Berlin-Moabit, where we will be accommodating musicians and visual artists. At Lehrter Str. 61 in Berlin-Moabit, Kultur Räume Berlin is offering several subsidised music rehearsal spaces for long-term use, within walking distance of Berlin Central Station. The workspaces are expected to be available from mid-June 2026 and can be used for up to four years. The heritage-listed building is currently being refurbished, the rehearsal spaces are being optimised in terms of building and room acoustics.

Start of tenancy: expected from 15.07.2026
Rental period: up to 4 years
Sizes: 20.64 m² up to 69.12 m²
Rent: subsidised, 5.00 EUR/m² (gross warm, plus electricity flat rate)
Viewings: 27.01.2026 and 03.02.2026 (registration via web portal required)

The workspaces are subsidised as part of the Workspace Programme. Applications, as always, via our web portal.

Please note: Renovation work is currently still being carried out in the building, i.e. the pictures show the current construction site and the viewing will take place on this construction site. The workspaces are therefore not yet in their final state.
