Kultur Räume Berlin, represented by Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, awards subsidised spaces for the artistic work of Berlin’s independent performing arts sector as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The Workspace Programme is a funding instrument for providing and securing spaces for art and cultural activities in the state of Berlin.

We are offering a subsidised project space at Gottlieb-Dunkel-Str. 43–44 in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district of Berlin. The space is situated on the 8th floor of the GoDu-Haus in Berlin-Tempelhof and, with its striking architecture, a generous exhibition area and a private terrace, provides an impressive setting for publicly accessible events in the field of visual arts.

We are looking for artists, curators, project space initiatives, collectives or associations with a compelling concept for the use of the space and its programme as part of a self-organised, publicly accessible project space. The focus is on exhibitions featuring works of visual art. Complementary formats such as performance, sound art, radio, film, lecture series, workshops or other discursive and experimental formats are possible, provided they meaningfully expand upon and complement the exhibition concept.

Address: Gottlieb-Dunkel-Str. 43–44, 12099 Berlin-Tempelhof
Space: approx. 210 m²
Expected availability: 01.10.2026
Rental period: maximum of five years
Rent: Subsidised as part of the Workspace Programme of the State of Berlin, 4.09 EUR/m² gross warm (plus electricity flat rate)
Application deadline: 09.08.2026

The funding is aimed exclusively at project spaces that are defined by an independent curatorial profile in the visual arts. It is not possible to apply for use as a studio.
