Moritz Majce and Sandra Man are looking for two tenants for the shared use of a dance rehearsal room with office at Georg-Knorr-Str. 4 – from 01.04.2024 to 31.05.2025

The detached, two-storey former factory building is located in an ensemble of production sites and small craft businesses in the “Georg-Knorr-Park Teilgebiet Ost” urban development area.

The space was awarded to Moritz Majce and Sandra Man in May 2021 for four years as part of the Workspace Programme via Kultur Räume Berlin. Moritz and Sandra, two choreographers and artists, work in a space-orientated way. Their work is interdisciplinary and process-orientated with dance/movement, language and video. They have been realising projects since 2017, which are mainly shown at Tanzfabrik in Berlin.

Now they are looking for other artists from the field of dance to share the space with them!

The tenants envisage a 50:50 utilisation, but are also open to individual arrangements.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to professional individual artists, groups, ensembles and collectives working in the field of dance. Applicants must provide proof of their primary residence in Berlin. In the case of groups, ensembles etc., the majority of the members must have their first place of residence in Berlin.

How is the decision made?

The selection is made by a discipline-specific, independent advisory board appointed for the Performing Arts/Dance discipline as part of the Workspace Programme (ARP). The current tenants have the right to make a recommendation.
