You already have a workspace but your landlord is threatening to terminate your contract?

Kultur Räume Berlin provides consultation for artists of the independent scene in Berlin on the topics of workspaces, loss of spaces as well as the process of applying for a space on our website.

As an information and contact point, we work closely with the associations of Berlin’s independent art scene and can help you find the right contact person for your questions.

We offer an overview of available spaces for artistic use in Berlin’s diverse scene.
We offer support in finding rehearsal and production spaces for performing arts, dance, performance, literature, as well as music rehearsal spaces (all genres), studio spaces and project spaces.
We provide consultation on all questions regarding the Arbeitsraumprogramm (ARP) of the Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
You can contact us if you are facing a loss of space or if your space is acutely endangered.

Perhaps you have a completely different question concerning artistic workspaces? We are happy to provide consultation!

Book your individual counselling appointment online. The counselling session usually lasts 20 minutes and can be done either by phone or by Zoom. Please read the conditions of the respective counsellor.
You can book an appointment up to 20 days in advance. After booking, you will automatically receive a confirmation with further information, such as access link and/or telephone number.

Do you have questions about our available spaces or the application and allocation process? Are you unsure whether a space is suitable for your project, or do you need guidance through the application process? Our consulting service is aimed at independent artists from all disciplines, with the exception of the visual arts. We will introduce you to the relevant open calls from Kultur Räume Berlin, explain the procedures, and support you with any questions regarding your application and space allocation. Consultations can take place by phone or online via Zoom.

Would you like to learn more about all the spaces available in Berlin, or are you still unsure which space is the right one for you? Are you facing the loss of your workspace, or do you need mediation with your landlord? Then book a consultation appointment with the Raumbüro Freie Szene. We provide advice on various space options and offer support with space searches, the loss of spaces, and communication with landlords. Consultations can take place by phone or online.
