The Alte Feuerwache e.V. is a registered child and youth welfare organisation in Kreuzberg.
Our spaces allow you to work professionally and creatively. Our studio has natural daylight and is the perfect rehearsal space for individuals and smaller groups of up to 10 people. The hall is ideal for a maximum of 45 people for dance and movement projects and for much larger choir and singing groups.
Spaces and equipment
- The studio/atelier: 86 m²
A mobile music system for rehearsals is available and included in the rent. Wireless microphones/microphones, seating, tables, projector and screen are available for hire on request.
The floor is not a sprung floor. There is a dance floor.
It is possible that only limited volume is possible during certain booking windows. Please ask when booking.
- The theatre hall: 219 m²
2-level working light, mirrored walls and a small music system for rehearsals are included in the hire. The built-in theatre technology (lighting and sound equipment) can also be used. Instruction (one-off charge of €30) or supervision by our in-house lighting and sound technician (€25 per hour) is required for use. Radio microphones/microphones, stage elements, seating, tables, projector and screen can be hired on request.
The theatre hall can be used with up to 100 dB.
The floor is not a sprung floor. The reverberation time can be varied by the surrounding curtain from very dry/very short reverberation time to slight reverberation.

Minimum hire period of 3 hours per appointment (NO hourly hire possible)

How do I book a space here?
These spaces can be booked as part of the Kultur Räume Kontingente programme at a reduced price of 5 euros/hour. For booking enquiries, please contact the Alte Feuerwache directly. Booking enquiries are accepted by e-mail. A confirmation of participation from Kultur Räume Kontingente is required.
