About this location

“Hotel Continental – Art Space in Exile” is a centre for contemporary art that was founded in Berlin-Treptow in 2022 to offer refugee artists and Berliners shared working spaces. The centre is a production and presentation venue for interdisciplinary art projects of all genres and offers access to an international community of artists.

Space and equipment

The theatre and dance hall is 220 m² in size, 3.6 m high and has a continuous grey vinyl floor. It is lit and ventilated on both sides and has a pleasant working light. Special feature: 2 columns in the centre of the space. The space is suitable for rehearsals and performances of all kinds, especially movement-orientated work with large groups.

Equipment: Light and sound technology, projector, screens.

Cannot be completely darkened during the day.

Adjoining rooms: small kitchen, shower, cloakroom.

Performances: Seating for approx. 100 spectators possible.
